From the moment you walk in the door, every member of staff you meet will show the same high standard of friendly yet professional customer service.

And we are constantly investing in our facilities and state-of-the-art optical technology so that we can continue to provide you with exemplary eye care.

Expert retinal imaging and scans

Getting a true picture of your eye health means examining every millimetre of your eyes, including the parts which can’t be seen.

Our retinal imaging technology lets us view 400 per cent more of your eye than we would by sight alone, by taking a 2D photo of your retina (the vital part which focuses images and sends them to the brain).

We also have highly advanced OCT scanning technology, which offers an advanced eye scan for people of all ages. It is particularly useful for early detection of conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and vitreous detachments.

Other health problems such as high blood pressure and even heart disease can be identified from subtle changes in the eye.

Every OCT scan you have is added to your medical history, giving us a detailed and accurate record of your eye health which will build over time.

The OCT scanner takes a series of pictures with a quick and simple scan of your eye. The scanner then compiles these pictures into a 3D image which can be used to identify any abnormalities or problems which may require further examination.

The images produced by an OCT scanner are up to 25 times higher in resolution than any other retinal camera.

The OCT scan is non-invasive, painless, simple and quick. You will begin by resting your chin on a support which faces the OCT scanner.

Using the finest in imaging technology, your eye will then be scanned (without touching it), creating a 3D image of your eye.

An OCT scan is harmless to your eye.

We endeavour to tell you everything we can about your examination, speaking in plain language and allowing you to make informed decisions about your eye health.

Ask us any questions about the scan – we will be happy to help.

We offer a comprehensive range of examinations for both NHS and private patients, designed to let us thoroughly assess and treat your eyes.

Whatever your budget, we’ve got an option to suit you. The following three exams are each delivered with the same impeccable standard of care and service:

STANDARD EYE EXAM

The standard eye exam forms the basis of every exam we offer. During the examination, we’ll discuss your general eye health and any vision problems you may be having.

Your optician will then examine your eyes and sight in detail, to determine your prescription or any other necessary further treatment.

ENHANCED EYE EXAM

Follows the standard eye exam routine, with retinal photography also included.

The pain-free, non-invasive and quick retinal imaging process helps us detect any potential issues as quickly as possible, before they can develop into something more serious.

PREMIUM EYE EXAM

One of the most advanced forms of retinal imaging available, OCT scans let us build the most accurate picture of your eye health, both now and for the future.
